Greetings and welcome to the TZO Ivy and Pearl Affair Scholarship Ball, hosted by Theta Zeta Omega Chapter. It brings me great pleasure to have each of you as we come together for an evening of elegance and philanthropy supporting our community.
The Ivy and Pearl Affair holds a special place in our hearts as it represents more than just a glamorous event; it symbolizes our commitment to service and the empowerment of our local community. Through your generous contributions and attendance, you enable us to implement impactful programs and provide scholarships to deserving youth, ultimately making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

Woman of the Year
Mrs. Alita Harmon
The Woman of the Year award is the highest honor for a Theta Zeta Omega chapter member who exemplifies “excellence through timeless service, exceptional leadership, and unparalleled sisterhood.”
Alita Harmon, initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Iota Kappa Chapter, on April 12, 1992, has been a dedicated member of Theta Zeta Omega Chapter for over seven years. She is the mother of two chapter legacies, Khalyn and Kinsley Harmon, and an aunt to Tanesha Roberts, also a TZO member. Alita is the daughter of Elder Eddie L. Jones and Mrs. Merry Jones, initiated into the Gamma Omicron Chapter during the Fall of 1966 at Tougaloo College. Alita is married to Coach Wesley “Geno” Harmon, 2023 TIPA King, and they have a son, Chase, as well as two daughters, Khalyn and Kinsley (previously mentioned). Alita and Wesley have been married for nearly 28 years.
Known as the "correspondence queen," Alita served as TZO Epistoleus for four years, expertly managing chapter communications. In this capacity, she earned an SER award for the creation of the Ivy & Pearl Connection newsletter.
Alita’s leadership includes her role as co-chair of The Ivy and Pearl Affair (TIPA) for both 2023 and 2024. She also co-chaired and actively participated in numerous local and regional planning committees throughout the past year.
Alita has participated in numerous chapter, regional, and international program initiatives supporting strengthening our sisterhood, economic wealth, and environmental stewardship, uplifting our local community, and social justice advocacy. She also led efforts to help paint the chapter garden fence with her entire family. She goes above and beyond for her Sorors, from designing and gifting charcuterie boards for the chapter’s signature retreat gift to utilizing her talents and creativity in Sister Squad activities.
Alita attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work. Professionally, Alita has excelled in the profession, earning numerous national awards and featured journal publications. Despite her many achievements, she remains steadfast in her faith, family, and unwavering commitment to Theta Zeta Omega Chapter.

Mrs. Monica Coleman Stallworth
​
Monica Ann Coleman Stallworth, originally from Moss Point, Mississippi, is married to Michael Charles Stallworth, with whom she resides in Mobile, AL. They recently celebrated 30 years of a happy marriage. Together, they have three wonderful children: Maleah Monique Stallworth, Moya Elizabeth Stallworth, and Matthew Cole Stallworth. Monica is the daughter of the late Alfred Edward Coleman and the late Gladys Nash Coleman, and she has a brother, Alfred Edward Coleman Jr.
Monica is a proud member of the Theta Zeta Omega Chapter, having been initiated into
the Iota Kappa Chapter at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS.
Along with her line sisters, she was part of the “21 Illustrious Impressions of Ivy”; in the
spring of 1993. She is also celebrated as a Silver Star, recognizing her 25 years of
dedicated service to humanity.
Monica attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where she
obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. After spending four years
pursuing and obtaining a degree in this field, she realized that it was not her true
purpose. Her mother always told her that passion would lead to purpose, and the
paycheck would follow. Inspired by her mother, who was an educator for over 40 years,
Monica decided to pursue a similar path.
In her quest for passion and purpose, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Elementary
Education from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. She then pursued an Education
Administration Certificate from the University of South Alabama, also in Mobile, followed
by an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Alabama in Livingston,
AL. Currently, she is contemplating whether or not to pursue a doctoral degree.
Monica has been an educator for 28 years. During this time, she has worked as a first-
grade teacher and has been recognized as Teacher of the Year three times.
Additionally, she has served as an ARI Building Reading Coach and as an ARI District
Reading Coach. Monica has also held the position of the District ARI Literacy Specialist
for the Mobile County Public Schools. Currently, she works for the Alabama State
Department of Education as an ARI Regional Literacy Specialist, where she proudly
supports schools within the Mobile County Public Schools System.
In her spare time, she loves being with her family, online shopping, and traveling.

Mr. Jesse L. Stewart
​
Mr. Jesse L. Stewart is married to his wife, of 15 years, Mrs. Shylonda B. Stewart, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Theta Zeta Omega Chapter.
Together, they have a daughter, Myla L. Stewart.
Jesse was initiated into the Mobile, Alabama Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated in the spring of 2023, and currently serving as Lieutenant
Strategist and has also served on Joe Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund Golf Event, Breakfast with Santa, and Kappa’s Family Day committees. He earned his
Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Alabama and is now pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Project
Management at Columbia Southern University. Jesse is employed at the Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula, MS, where he works as a Turnaround Team Leader,
overseeing the planning and execution of turnaround activities. Additionally, he served as a Corporal K-9 Handler with the Meridian Police Department from 1999 to 2007.
Jesse has been a proactive supporter of the Theta Zeta Omega Chapter for many years by donating financially and participating in various Theta Zeta Omega
service projects and community events such as Pink Goes Red Events, Moss Point Tornado Relief Event, Founders’ Day, TIPA Scholarship Ball, AKA Day at the
Capitol, and Regional Connection activities. He is one of the faithful Honey-Do’s who’s always willing to assist in transporting chapter supplies and setting up and
cleaning up for the sorority events. Jesse remains actively involved in supporting his local community and various initiatives through his chapter and his wife’s
chapter along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Jesse’s philosophy in life is ‘To whom much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:48). Jesse is honored to represent Theta Zeta Omega as the 2025 TIPA King.

Dr. Vikki Huggins

A native of Moss Point, Mississippi, Vikki Steward Huggins started her pharmacy career in 2010 after completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi. Subsequently, she completed a post-graduate year-one residency in pharmacy practice at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL.
During her residency training, Huggins took interest in the hematology/oncology service line and focused her research in this specialty. Her research entitled “Evaluation of Pharmacists’ Interventions in Altering the Prescribing Patterns for the Treatment of VTE in Patients with Cancer” is published in the December 2012 issue of the Journal of Hematology Oncology Pharmacy. After residency training, Huggins became the first decentralized clinical pharmacy specialist in hematology/oncology at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS, where she was able to provide clinical pharmacy services to the hematology/oncology patient population in conjunction with the direct patient care team. Huggins was instrumental in helping build the clinical pharmacy program at Anderson Regional Medical Center during her four-year tenure. She is a board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and is licensed as a registered pharmacist with the Boards of Pharmacy from four southeastern states – Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
In 2015, Huggins joined Hospital Corporation of America (HCA®) as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN. She led the clinical team to perform among the top 25% of the HCA® TriStar Division by designing, implementing, and managing clinical pharmacy programs such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation monitoring, pain management, IV to oral conversions, renal dosing and other programs as determined appropriate based on patient population and literature guidelines.
In addition to managing the clinical pharmacy program at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, she served as an HCA® corporate pharmacy residency preceptor for the clinical practice experience rotation, as well as affiliate faculty member for Lipscomb College of Pharmacy. She is a member of the 2018 Leadership Academy Class for the HCA® TriStar Division. In 2019, a promotion to Director of Pharmacy at HCA® Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, MS propelled her return to the beloved MS Gulf Coast. With over 10 years of progressive hospital experience, she led the pharmacy team through various operational changes and performance improvement projects as HCA® Garden Park Medical Center transitioned through an acquisition to Singing River Gulfport in partnership with Ochsner Health. She also contributed to the training of rising pharmacy students as a clinical preceptor for the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and William Carey University School of Pharmacy.
Committed to the advancement of healthcare, Huggins furthered her education by completing a Masters of Business Administration with Healthcare Leadership Concentration in the summer of 2021 from the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama while concurrently dedicating numerous hours to the COVID-19 emergency response efforts. She was intimately involved in the various COVID-19 vaccination event logistics and implementation such as county-wide vaccine drive-thru events for Jackson and Harrison County as well as collaborating with the Singing River Health System Healthy Partners to distribute and administer thousands of vaccines to local residents and employers’ workforce.
Her extensive experience with hospital acquisition and mergers led to her position as Director of Pharmacy at Tulane University Hospital and Clinics, which was comprised of the Tulane Downtown New Orleans Medical Center and Tulane Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, LA. Huggins contributed to change management efforts by supporting operational transitions and aligning pharmacy services with the LCMC Health System as Tulane Health System merged with East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. She currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy at Memorial Hospital System in Gulfport, MS and continues to utilize her experience with hospital acquisitions as Merit Health Biloxi becomes Memorial Hospital Biloxi.
Huggins is a member of Coast Young Professionals and was selected to the 2022-2023 class of Leadership Gulf Coast, which is a program established by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc. for present and emerging leaders who are dedicated to the improvement of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She is a four-time nominee of the One Coast Top 10 under 40 award recognizing strong, up-and-coming community leaders. She is also a member of the Magnolia State Pharmaceutical Society, American Society of Health-System Pharmacist, and National Association of Health Science Executive Southeastern Louisiana Chapter.
Huggins has been a servant leader and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, a community service-based organization founded in 1908, which provides programs of service to meet the needs of the local, regional, national, and international communities served. She pledged as an undergraduate being initiated into the Theta Psi Chapter in Spring 2006 and has actively contributed her time and talents to the community in an effort to change the social and economic landscape. As a current member of the graduate chapter, Theta Zeta Omega, she has served on the 2023-2024 Executive Board as Assistant Secretary and is the 2025-2026 2nd Vice President. In addition, she has served as chairman and co-chairman for programs and committees, such as Heart Disease Awareness for Women, Nutrition for Life (Healthy Kids Program), Breast Cancer Awareness, Founders’ Day Program, Chapter Anniversary Program and the GenNEXT Committee. She was recognized as one of the Inaugural South Eastern 40 Under 40 Award Recipients at the 91st South Eastern Regional Conference in Huntsville, AL, was the Regional Chairman of the 40 Under 40 Recognition Program for the 92nd South Eastern Regional Conference in Mobile, AL and is a member of Theta Zeta Omega’s Scholarship, Nominating, Protocol, Bylaws, and Technology Committees.
Huggins values the opportunity to share the wisdom and experience she has gained to help others. She has been influential to other women through her church community and spiritually impactful through her Christian faith. She has served as the Vice President of the Women’s Ministry, Liturgical Praise Dance Ministry Choreographer, and team captain for her church’s Relay for Life initiative. Through her various roles, she has demonstrated her abilities to lead, inspire, and encourage others. She has a passion for leadership and is commitment to the personal and professional development of herself and others.
Vikki is the daughter of Bernard (Jency) Steward Sr., and the granddaughter of the late Kessie (Feannie) Steward Sr. and the Honorable Judge Ennis (Beatrice) Millender, Sr. She is the Executive Board Member At-Large for Millender’s Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. She has one brother, Bernard Steward Jr. and is the proud aunt of Aaliyah Steward, who is a member for Theta Zeta Omega’s Youth Leadership Institute. Vikki believes the words of Colin Powell: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”

Mr. Scott Campbell
Introducing Scott Campbell: A Leader, a Mentor, and a Pillar of His Community:
Scott is a man whose journey is marked by steadfast love, academic excellence, and
unwavering commitment to service. Celebrating 17 years of marriage to the love of his life, Angela Campbell, an esteemed member of Theta Zeta Omega Chapter, Scott’s personal life is grounded in kinship and mutual support.
A proud alumnus of Alabama State University, his pursuit of knowledge led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, further enriching his expertise with an MBA from the
University of North Alabama. This educational background has propelled Scott to remarkable heights in his professional career at International Paper. For over two decades, he’s been an integral part of the company, currently standing as one of the rare African American Managers at the helm of the paper machine, shipping, and recycling operations.
Scott is more than just his titles and achievements. His noble character and strong value system make him an exemplary candidate for the honor of King. His devotion shines at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, where he generously contributes his time and resources. His alliance with Theta Zeta Omega Chapter is not merely one of support but of sincere partnership in service.
His active membership in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, further accentuates his leadership skills. Having served as the Vice Polemarch of the Daphne Alumni Chapter, Scott’s commitment to brotherhood and community service continues to resonate throughout his life’s work.
Scott Campbell represents the epitome of leadership, kindness, and dedication. His
achievements, both personal and professional, are deeply interwoven with his identity as a servant leader, making him not just a man of honor, but truly, a King among men. Let his story be a beacon, illuminating the path of service, integrity, and excellence.
As he takes his final promenade as King Ivy & Pearl 2024, Scott extends his heartfelt gratitude to the Lovely Ladies of Theta Zeta Omega for the honor and privilege of representing their esteemed organization. This is a memory he will forever cherish.

Mrs. Donise Harris-Smith
DeAnna Donise Harris Smith, a native of Pascagoula, MS, is married to Cletis B. Smith, a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, and they reside in Monrovia, Maryland. Combined, they have four children: Knitra Smith, Kyra Smith, Kyle Smith and Quinton Dodds. They are also blessed to have three adorable granddaughters, Aniyah Smith, Zoe Smith and Brooklyn Smith.
Donise is the daughter of the late Mr. Melton Harris, Jr., who was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and the former District - II Supervisor for Jackson County, and Mrs. Portia Harris, who completed Mr. Harris’ term as the District - II Supervisor for Jackson County, upon his untimely home-going. Mrs. Portia Harris is also an active member of Theta Zeta Omega Chapter.
Donise attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Donise was initiated into the Epsilon Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in Spring ‘88. She is an active member of Theta Zeta Omega Chapter and has achieved Silver Star status.
Lieutenant Colonel Harris Smith is currently mobilized with the Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters (Fort Belvoir, VA) as their Radiation Safety Program Manager.
In her limited spare time, she enjoys cooking and traveling abroad.
